biography/
One of the most prolific contemporary artists today, Jane Hammond's oeuvre draws its inspiration from a veritable cornucopia of sources that includes manuals, children's books, books on magic and puppetry, medical journals, technical illustrations, matchbook covers, labels, charts and maps. There seems to be no limit to the scope with which she is able to extend her creativity and inventiveness, be it for paintings, photography, prints and other works on paper. Everything appears to be a workable theme for this amazing, visionary artist.
